This seems like a good forum for advice.
I'm about to purchase a 2023 R1T dual max with 40k miles on it, but the dealer informed me today that a side camera needs to be replaced (in-house) and a rear drive needs either servicing or replacement (at Rivian). The Carfax is otherwise clean. I have some major questions here, like:
Could these be the result of an unreported accident?
Do new motors come with a refreshed warranty?
Is this the typical reliability of a '23 with 40k under the belt?
Are there other things I should be giving a lot more attention now that these issues have cropped up?
Since I haven't forked over any money and the dealer is handling all the paperwork, I don't really have any complaints (yet) other than the delays.
