We recently returned to Nashville from a road trip to Palm Springs CA, our first road trip. Two months into our ownership and all is well.
A couple of problems. First while on the interstate there was a loud pop (waking my dozing wife) and I found the small triangular window (where the vent window was located during the 50's and 60's) had shattered. Looked like something had struck it which given the location behind the mirror seems almost impossible.
Secondly, I had noted that on a couple of occasions, while making a turn into a business, the vehicle behind me honked and swerved around me. Each time I had the turn signal on before making the turn. My wife had noted previously when following me that the turn signals are quite small and difficult to see. Wonder if this can be improved if it proves to be a safety issue.
Some tense moments during the trip trying to get the most range on each charge but better managed on our return trip to Nashville.
Now planning on another trip to western Canada but my wife insists that we will fly this trip as our time is limited. May try the drive in the summer when hopefully Tesla chargers will be available.
