This has got to be the strangest interview with RJ out there, and it was hilarious.

I loved the rant session and dunking on the wireless charging pad right in front of him. Was real close to getting a response about what happened with the launch edition price hike too, but fortunately gave RJ a window out.

Hope they actually went surfing afterwards.
I enjoyed it and I wasn't even a big Tosh fan/watcher back in the day. They should get him involved in PR and marketing... be a brand ambassador. Like most of us, flaws and all, he's still clearly all-in on Rivian. Have him MC some live events or something.

Leasing Model 3 until R3X comes out, but now I have an R2 reservation as well.
What are the R4 and R5 going to be? That was my major takeaway.
I wonder if they’re going to be smaller and more affordable, like a sports sedan and a smaller hatchback? The higher the number, the smaller the vehicle?

I can see it. Apparently back in the 2010s, the idea was to release a sports car but as the market changed and Americans kept buying bigger cars, they shifted to the bigger truck and SUV that we have today. RJ is a car guy as he himself admits, so it wouldnt surprise me if we see something like this in a future R platform based on the original concept car.

Someone posted this before, but man, if this ever comes to life, I am bankrupting myself to get one:

I want it. I want it bad.

Am a fan of Rivian but didn't really understand the raving of RJ. After watching this interview, I now get it. Seems to be a genuinely good person and certainly won me over.
You must've missed all of his other interviews

I've seen a couple interviews with business news outlets. Didn't catch his personal life, history, and this much personality in those. Yes sorry a little late to the party.
They're a bit dated now, but there are two How I Built This podcast episodes with RJ that are really good. He's one of the most genuine CEO's I've ever heard talk. Stand up guy for sure.

He is a down to earth person with no agenda besides starting a car company. He’s not super ego driven. Someone who loves cars and wants to make good ones is the ideal person to run Rivian.
