So we haven't seen any trucks with the manual tonneau... Have there been any delivered with no tonneau?

Thinking back to the video posted here about driving the R1T in the desert. At one point the owner opened the tailgate and everything under the tonneau was covered in dust. So it's certainly not "airtight". Can an owner tell us how resistant the cover is to water intrusion? Everything stayed nice and dry with my old Avalanche and I'm expecting the same thing with the R1T.
