Hey y'all, curious if there's anyone who kept track of when you got your 8-steps after you had a vehicleID assigned to you.

I just had a vehicleID show up in my account last night and am now obsessively watching my email for that mythical email to show up. How long is it usually for this phase of the process?
Very exciting. I think you're a similar distance to service centers as I am. I hope this means it can happen for me too.

I'm about 4 hours or so away from my nearest SC, right now. Really hoping Rivian can find a legal strategy to allow them to enter my state to greatly reduce the travel time required. Expecting it to be a rough 2-3 years until that happens and fully prepared to deal with that. Happy to be a guinea pig until we can get enough demand and political pressure to change the laws in favor of the people instead of our dealerships!

If it can happen for me it can definitely happen for you!

I got my email to confirm my configuration on a Sunday morning. That afternoon a vehicle ID showed up and my home page on my account had an actual VIN. The 8 steps also opened up either the same day or the next day. My guide told me he thought it would be best case two weeks. On Friday afternoon that same week I got an email from the service center that my vehicle was ready to deliver. I'm still a little shocked how quickly it all happened.

Wow this is so exciting! I just checked everywhere I could look on my account and I'm not seeing a VIN anywhere yet. I assume it was fairly obvious when it showed up?

I already reached out to an electrician to try and get on his radar for a charger install, but if it really happens this quick I need to get my other ducks in a row real quick!

The VIN appears right at the top of your account page. Funny you mentioned the electrician. I had been waiting on a callback from 2 different electricians. When I found out Friday afternoon I was taking delivery the following Tuesday, I called another one that actually had a real webpage and office staff to answer a call. They were able to schedule getting my NEMA 14-50R installed for the same day my truck was coming and pulled into my driveway as I was wrapping things up with my delivery specialist. Of course they had no idea what a Rivian was or who made it, but I at least had my home charging ready just in time.

If your 8 steps are open there's a link next to them from the sidebar for order summary of something like that VIN can be seen in there

Thank you for clarifying that! Does this mean that the VIN only shows up with the 8-steps are open/available?

@lostpacket: that is SUPER useful to see!! No missing that at all. Here's hoping it shows up for me this weekend or maybe early next week! It's going to be distracting at work next week until this shows up!

Thank you again!

So "VehicleID" doesn't show up for me any more. I now have a different structure. Is this how it happened for you? Did the structure change to just show "ID" rather than "VehicleID"?

I still have my vehicleID in the orderSnapshots array. I'm not certain but is it possible you're looking at the same GraphQL response as before? I've seen a few others come through with duplicative but slightly different structured data in my network tab.

For what it's worth I'm done with all steps except delivery and nothing in my primary user data JSON is different other than the fulfillmentSummaryStatus which is READY_FOR_FULFILLMENT as mentioned by others.
