Also hopeful about taking delivery next week but I'm not even going to check with my guide because I'm astounded at how little information they can offer about it's impending arrival.

Yeah, they’re pretty constrained in what they are told by corp. I had to talk to him anyway, because BofA sucks and borked my documentation, so we had to re-issue contract.

FYI - if you use BofA, give yourself more time than you think you need. Lowest rates, but …

So partner and I just had dinner in the Costa Mesa area and decided to swing by the SC on the slim chance that we might run into my truck. Pulled up to the lot and saw 40+ vehicles. Mostly R1Ts and a handful of R1S. Had a quick conversation with an employee passingby and he mentioned they would be receiving a shipment of vehicles tomorrow and Sunday as well. Unfortunately I did not see my truck, nor was I able to take any pictures. Going to follow up with guide next week to see if it was delivered this weekend. Will keep y'all posted!

It would appear the train has made it to south SF. Our initial contact and 8-step process started the evening of September 30th, same as many of you. We’re located 20m south of the San Francisco service center. Early in the process our guide stated the truck was in normal and needed to be shipped out west. We were informed this past Monday the truck was scheduled to arrive at the service center on Tuesday. I drove over early yesterday morning to look around and sure enough our new R1T was sitting in the back lot along with quite a few other new R1Ts and R1Ss. Our truck had a hold tag hanging from the rear view mirror which I assume is because it’s so perfect they need a few extra days to make sure there’s truly nothing wrong with it ?. I was there before opening so I wasn‘t able to ask what the hold tag actually meant. Hopefully we can take delivery sometime next week.

Yes, my guide was out on Friday but the substitute guide confirmed a shipment of R1Ts arrived at the Sacramento Service Center on Friday afternoon. This particular shipment of vehicles seems larger than usual as he said they have so many trucks to PDI that it could take up to 2 weeks to schedule delivery ?. I'm hoping he's been told to be over-the-top conservative with these communications.

Congrats! I’m pretty sure that’s my blue w/21s in the background. Was told by my guide Friday that the SC will be contacting me asap. Anyone know if they work on Sundays?

I went to the San Diego SC yesterday afternoon. Lots of trucks on the lot. Didn't see mine (left Normal 10/4 I believe). Interesting anecdote, my wife was getting a new insurance policy for my Vespa from progressive yesterday. They asked her "We see you have a Rivian 2022 R1T at your household, would you like to add that?" Nice to see that Flo can see a Rivian at my household but I sure cant. At least it looks like they have the registration process down. Now lets work on the delivery.

I think somebody had previous mentioned that the train heads to SoCal first before heading up north, right? If the my truck wasn't at the SC as of Friday but those in SF have reported that the train has arrived, could this mean that either the train heads to SF first and then to SoCal, or two separate trains now?

Somebody also mentioned the trains travel together from Illinois to a certain point (Nevada?) and then split off with one going to SoCal and one to NorCal.

Ahh, that makes sense. So hopefully timing from NorCal to SoCal isn't that far off. hoping for pleasant updates for those waiting for the train this week!

That was my hypothesis based on truck delivery timing and patterns I've seen there, but it may just be that the socal trains reach their destination first after a split somewhere earlier in the E>W trip as others have mentioned.

I'm curious if anyone has a south SF delivery scheduled this week. From what I can gather, the cars have been down there for a few weeks at this point but I'm guessing there is added PDI load to address torqued bolts and other updates (Firmware etc) that came in hot during the transit by rail. Here's hoping you all receive good news this week!

That's great news! Good luck with the pick up and eager to hear how the experience is. We have a first drive scheduled this weekend to check out the vehicle and get a final pass from my wife and kids before taking delivery. Guide originally thought we'd get our vehicle before the first drive since it shipped out at the end of september to south SF, but it's looking like we will have a first drive before vehicle delivery.

I know most of you are waiting for SoCal and/or SF service centers to complete PDI on your vehicles but I just wanted to update you that my vehicle delivery has been scheduled for later this week at the West Sacramento SC (the guide was VERY conservative with his 1-2 week PDI estimate).
