Our daughter celebrated her birthday this weekend with a huge surprise.

A camp kitchen for our R1T!

I have to say. It is much different than I remember the demo being, but we are just happy to have it.


Can't wait to take it camping and test the functionality.

I really am impressed with the size and how easily it fits in the gear tunnel.

Has anyone else gotten their kitchen?

Just want to see if ours is special or what..

From what I understand the camp kitchens other than the amazing model you have, are not actually being made yet... I was told Rivian will honor the $5000 price tag when they do ship for us pre-holders that pre-ordered the kitchen. I am just hoping that it comes out by fall.

I'm in same boat for the "well honor price and deliver later". I'd be curious as to what they're planning for the R1S...wrt Camp Kitchen - word is one is under development.

Our Guide told us we would indeed be able to get the Kitchen for $5k as we at one point had it equipped.

Honestly just don't think we would do it though. Just doesn't make sense to buy something like that for the 20 times a year we would use it. IT would be fantastic for football tailgates, but the style of camping we do I honestly just don't see the need for that complex of a setup.

We had the slide out base at time of purchase, but now that we have the truck we have cooled on it as well and likely won't go through with it either.

oh you f***er. you got me. I'm convinced the actual camp kitchens don't exist. Planning on making my own if Rivian doesn't start delivering (but that's probably what they want anyway).

I think the size is a big improvement over the original design. At this scale you can fit a camp spa tub on the other side of the gear tunnel.
