Is there a good official way to share SW bug reports? I have a few (haven’t tested in the latest update that just pushed) but one that is particularly annoying (and not quite as well documented as the center console usb-c power issue) is:

* (Gen2 Dual Max with standard audio) occasionally, music will stop playing on the left side of the vehicle and/or parts of the left (drivers side) channel will cut out. Specifically for me ive noticed it’s all but one speaker on the left side that cut out. You can validate this when it happens by moving the audio balance between the left and right of the car and between the front and rear left/right.
* switching audio apps and then going back to the audio app you were using before resolves the issue until the next time it shows up. Infotainment reset also clears the issue but is a bit of overkill vs switching apps/reinitiating
* I’ve noticed this specifically with Apple Music since that’s the primary music app I use but don’t know if it’s limited to Apple Music or more widespread

I don’t really feel like this is a service issue per se but I really want to be able to both:
A) report SW bugs
B) have visibility / provide the community with visibility into known bugs alongside solutions and work arounds

finally, if there isn’t an existing channel for this I’m happy to figure out how to host a bug tracker for the community and hopefully encourage the Rivian team to either take a look or better yet, host their own official tracker. Lmk your thoughts.

There’s https://riviansoftware.canny.io/ which is great, but sadly that’s focused on desired features and not known issues/reporting bugs. I think Jose from RivianTrackr runs this so we could ask but I don’t think the onus should be on an avid Rivian fan to take this on.

As a software product manager myself I struggle every day balancing gathering info from customers about issues and balancing that with the constant demands for updates. There has got to be a better way for companies in general but alas, I think Rivian is just in max growing pain cycle now so they don’t want to have it more transparent about the issues since it will hurt their stock price.

Honestly, I wish forums had adapted to just this use case - help collate information and avoid duplicating and spreading it out. In the age of AI this should be a thing.

+1 on using the app. Also, Wassym frequents r/Rivian on Reddit. A post there will likely be seen by him, sometimes he responds. Rivian stated a few years ago that Reddit r/Rivian was their "official" social interaction channel.
