Stuck after Final Quality Checks

Anyone else waiting for delivery for a few weeks? My truck has yet to be shipped from Normal, and has been ready for shipment since the 18th of May. Has anyone else experienced waiting for the their truck to actually just get loaded onto the delivery vehicles?

I think it's common. They are still figuring out their logistics and probably want to get a batch of locked config orders on a truck to your area before they send it. That's why they usually quote 4-8 weeks.

Umm nope. I had to get rematched to a new truck. They couldn't give me a good timeline in regards to my original truck. Looks like something happened.

Oh you just said it was "waiting for delivery". That's different. Problems with a truck and problems with delivery are two different things. Rivian is having both right now. But if they took away your VIN, there's probably something wrong with it and you don't want it anyway.

It was waiting for shipment. It was passed final quality checks at the factory. So everything I said holds true. Basically there was some disconnect between shipping it from normal and getting here to Washington. My thought is that it got shipped elsewhere.

I wasn't questioning your assertion I just didn't understand the full scenario.

Lots of people have had to wait a few weeks for delivery. That's the first I've heard of someone having their VIN taken away after QC and ready for delivery.

I've seen a lot of them being shipped on smaller transporters along with normal car carriers. I saw a ton of Colorado and Canyons being shipped on smaller transporters when I was near the Wentzville factory last week which I found odd.

I passed both of these last weekend about 60 miles west of the factory. I can confirm at least 8 have left in the past week lol.

Well, sometimes things go awry in the automobile delivery step so......?

I tried. This is where the issues occured. Basically said if it was delayed I don't mind grabbing it. This is where things started showing their cracks.
