Strange windshield defrost behavior.

My defrost started to behave strangely. It does not start blowing right away. After a couple minutes it starts and then quickly fades to nothing. I had a bad icing issue with freezing drizzle last night driving home. I do not recall it doing this before the latest update. Puzzled.

Fixed by soft reset.

My 2023 Gen 1 R1T has the opposite problem ever since 2025.46 came out. After driving in cold weather (under 45) for a 10-15 minutes the windshield and front side windows quickly start fogging up... As if the compressor shut off and is no longer removing moisture from the incoming air. I have to run of the defroster (cool or warm) to clear the windows and then the system settles down for awhile... maybe 20 minutes, then it starts all over again. Very strange behavior and very new behavior.

I just performed a vehicle reset, went for a drive and it is still happening. Odd.

I've also experienced strange hvac performance lately, although I have to say, whenever it gets really cold I've always found it best to turn auto off, manually turn on outside air to keep fog off the windows, then just set the temp and control the fan as needed. I spend most of the winter with auto turned off.

My HVAC blows cold AC air for a long time after requesting heat after defrosting. There are also two defrost modes; cold and hot.
