Seems every Interaction is this way. How should I answer the first question to avoid the second question again?

Yup, I get the exact same questions. It's "what is it", "Who makes it", "how long can you go on a charge", and "how long do the batteries last".

I try to just answer them all in one go. "It's called a Rivian, it's a new american company in Illinois. It's electric and goes about 315 miles on a charge give or take"

You could try responding with, "it's a truck made by an EV startup company called Rivian."

But it really won't matter what answer you give, you're guaranteed to get follow on questions.

Quite often after telling them it's a Rivian, they ask "and Tesla makes it right?"

It's been only 24 hours post-delivery and I've had multiple conversations like this... Q's are:

• What is this? (It’s a Rivian) Who makes it? (Rivian)
• It's electric? (Yes)
• How far can it go [on a single charge]? (About 300 miles)
• How long does it take to charge? (about 10 seconds, to plug it in when I get home)
• Naw, I meant like, how will you wait charging it on road trips? (not much time waiting at all, since it charges while I get a coffee and take a dump, and then it's ready to go)

Perhaps we could print out a Rivian FAQs flyer and tape it up in the side windows for people to read. Or make some little info cards to hand out. ?

Yes. Just replying “Rivian” without even a subject or verb is kinda weird. It’s not that hard to make a short sentence.
Also a lot of people wanted to be the first ones out there to get one, so I’d think part of the appeal of getting a R1T or S are the bragging rights and therefore answer questions ?

I recommend a comically oversized sign on a stick that says “it’s a Rivian” on both sides and when they ask the second time, you dramatically rotate it.

I've considered making business cards that answer the first few questions I get every time I talk to someone who doesn't know what it is.

It's a Rivian. Yes it's electric, no it's not a Tesla, yes it's made in America, yes I love it, it can go over 300 miles on a charge, you can charge it in about 40 minutes.

And then add the Rivian website. If Rivian has a referral program I'd add my referral code
