What settings do you guys use for Standard drive mode (all purpose)? I've been using the standard settings, but wonder if changing to standard ride height instead of auto for example might increase range at all as it won't be moving the suspension up/down? Standard brake regen, soft ride feel, and stability on...curious what others are doing and why.

I use high regen because I like sticking with one-pedal driving as much as possible, and find the default regen setting is not aggressive enough for traffic in town, it's fine on the highway and less busy rural roads.

I keep auto ride height because the lower height is better for efficiency on the highway and the suspension is constantly adjusting anyway, so adjusting once when I get to speed on the highway and once when I get off doesn't meaningfully add wear and tear on the suspension (as I understand from other threads in this forum ;-) ).

Most of my driving is All Purpose, Standard Height with Auto adjustment off, ride set to "stiff" on an R1T. I found that when they tweaked the ride settings in the fall, there was more roll in the new "soft" than I liked, and now having 20" tires that have more sidewall than the 21" which softens the ride a bit I have found "stiff" to be an overall better experience.

I keep auto adjustment off because that keeps the wheels at a more neutral camber. If I'm going to be on the highway long enough for efficiency to matter, I'll either switch to Conserve or lower the truck myself.

Most of the time my wife drives the vehicle set to All Purpose/Low/Stiff Std Regen.

Whe I occasionally drive, I usually change it to Sports and keep the same settings for the rest.

I promise, I did search before posting!

Standard, Stiff, Auto Height, High Regen.

I have a 141 mile round-trip commute. I've found these the best (for me, my n=1) for 1-overall comfort, 2-performance and 'confidence' in driving dynamics 3- efficiency and 4- tire wear.

Honestly, OP, I'd say experiment with them and see what YOU like the best. That's why there are OPTIONS. I'd say any marginal differences you see are virtually rounding errors. For example: many on these forums will claim that they don't use auto ride height due to camber at the lower ride height (which if you do the math, is incredibly minimal) causing premature tire wear. But a lot of those same people are prematurely burning through tires. I have over 16k miles on mine in 'auto' ride height, with the majority of those being highway miles leaving me in 'low.' And I bet I have at least 8-10k more good miles to get from those tires.

Anyway, enjoy your R1S!

Off-road Rally High/Sport Low are my two primary. Big boy Rally High would be better if it allowed cruise on the freeway, oh well.

Stiff and High Regen - in all modes. Traction control preference is decided day by day as well. Why limit yourself to one mode?

I am in sport/lowest/stiff/high regen 99% of the time.

The only time I shift out of that is if I am in an area with really bad roads and in that case I will switch to all purpose/high/soft.

I've just been sticking to the regular settings too, but your question got me thinking. Going for the standard ride height instead of auto might actually be a cool idea for a potential range boost. Having less suspension movement could make a real difference. Personally, I like to keep brake regen on standard, love the smooth ride, and always make sure stability is in check.

Using Auto/Low is both advertised from Rivian and demonstrated to provide more efficiency at highway speeds.

So, no. Leaving it in 'standard' right height is not more efficient (it's less). Unless you think increasing drag is more efficient somehow...? There's a reason they put racecars as close to the ground as possible (OK, Center of Gravity, too, but the AERO tries to close all of those gaps so there's less air going under, creating turbulent flow that increases overall drag).
