I took it out almost immediately . The floor is not flat, little things still crashed around, and bigger thinks like a breaker bar or torque wrench didnt fit right. This mod gave me. a flat surface, flexibility to secure any size object, and got back the space that divider thing used up.
Makes sense! Just making sure you didn’t have something left out at the SC.

I haven’t seen em mentioned but the Nite Ize ties (think bread tie on the juice) work well for lashing smaller things to an existing tie down point

Those retractable ratchet straps look great. I have family members that only need to look at my regular ratchet straps and they get tangled and knotted.

In general I prefer 2" ratchet straps over 1". They are overkill for most jobs but they seem to tangle less and have nicer ratchets. Don't be afraid to cut them to length. I have one strap that I only use to go across the bed and I cut off the excess. It makes things slightly easier not having the extra strap dangling or getting tangled while stored. Obviously you want it long enough to ratchet securely.

A few bungies are nice too. I use them for things like keeping the back wheel of my bike from bouncing around.

LOL, what? Was that maybe posted using speech-to-text? If so, Siri or whoever didn't quite get it...

The bigger question is what are you tying off to? The 4D hooks in each corner are great, but it would be nice to have some tie off points on the upper part of the bed.

Heavy duty ratchet straps for me. I can use them for recovery off road if needed. When securing a load, be careful as you can straight up crush appliances by ratcheting too hard.
