Other than (the highly compressed and clipped) audio quality vs the stream. And here in Minnesota with the shallow satellite angle, it always losing signal in the shadow of anything two stories or more taller.
Unfortunately Satellite angle has nothing to do with it. One of my biggest pet peeves with my Rivian is their decision to forgo satellite radio in favor of SiriusXM internet streaming. Sure we get more stations, but for a company that puts so much emphasis on their adventure capabilities and locating their adventure network chargers so we can get off the beaten path, why on earth would they choose to use streaming services that rely on cellular connectivity rather than satellite that works almost everywhere?!
I got the same Unable to Authorize message right after the update. Sirius was unusable for like a day. But then it seemed to fix itself and has been fine.
When mine went out, I was able to stream from my phone. And my other cars with sat antennas worked fine.
