I didn’t see that, but that’s not uncommon. I wouldn’t be surprised if it got bumped again. Oh, and then he’ll get the email stating he must take delivery within 48 hours or lose his car to someone else. Crazy what they can get away with. I was fortunate that my experience wasn’t that extreme. In my case, I received a VIN assignment which I based my loan on. Tesla emailed me a couple of day later to tell me that my vehicle was “damaged in transport“ and I was assigned a new VIN. This required me going back to my credit union and unwinding my loan and reapplying with the new VIN. While this was a big pia, it’s nowhere near as bad as some people’s experience.speaking of which, did you see the shenanigans Tesla pulled with the Kilowatts guy's Model S order? yesterday the estimated deliver was 9/22 to 9/30. Now it's Dec 13 to January 2.
That would suck.
