Does anyone know the number of orders for the R1S and R1T?

Per the S1 it was 48k preorders as of Sept 30. That's all R1 vehicles, no breakdown of the different models.

As an R1T holder, I SURE HOPE YOU'RE RIGHT.

Way back when, years ago, RJ said he thought the split would be 55:45 in favor of the R1T. Earlier on this forum, when an informal poll was taken, a year or two ago, it was pretty close to RJ's estimate, as I recall. Maybe 53-54 to 46-47. So, roughly 28K R1T and 25K R1S preorders.

Earlier polls showed more R1Ts. I would guess there are more R1T because:
1. It gets all the press right now
2. It is coming sooner, so more of the recent preorders caused by reviews will be for it.

So if we go with this then take off the people that are waiting for the Max pack and people that got in late I bet its in the range of 15,000 launch editions R1t's. More limited than I thought and probably why they sold out so fast.
