Rivian NACS Adapter - wait or buy alternative option?

Greetings Rivian Forms, I hope all is well. I was wondering if people are still receiving the NACS adapters from Rivian that they opted-in to receive for free. I know very little about the recall (I just know that their is one) and was wondering if I should hold off on buying one from Lectron or A2Z or if I should go ahead and make that purchase. I do not foresee myself needing anytime soon (2 -3 mo, maybe up to 5 mo). Any information would be very helpful thank you.

I did chat with Rivian service and they have no ETA and would not tell me if they are still shipping them.

No recall for Rivian supplied adapters. Still shipping. I’d wait if I were you. The last group to get adapters were the June/July 2023 deliveries. The speed of getting out adapters has picked up dramatically

Buy the adapter, stop this unknown ETA waiting game and live your life. When the adapter shows you'll have 2 which is a good thing in case one stops working (i.e. stranded @ Tesla without adapter is worth an extra at any price).

Yes they are. I am getting mine tomorrow according to UPS. Aug 2023 R1S.

I would just wait, especially because you have no immediate needs.

Sounds good, Dec. ‘23 here so I guess mine would come ~Feb or March ‘25.
