It is possible indeed the reason. I asked for a method to the madness...how were decisions being made? order date? location? configuration? etc. The person I spoke to was extremely apologetic and understanding as to why I was frustrated (early order date in likely the largest market with a non-obscure configuration)Begs the question of whether the "squeaky wheel" got the grease, or your number just came up organically.
PS. Not a shot at you at all, I find the CS responses infuriating most of the time. Genuinely curious about the catalyst for your guide contact.

Yes, my guess is its most likely going to be color, configuration, location, and proximity to service center that determines when you get your vehicle.I had spoken with a CS supervisor last week (they called me because I wasnt happy with the standard answers given by the chat agents) and unfortunately order date/number seems to be one of the lesser used parameters to determine the call order. After that conversation I definitely would not draw a correlation between order # and when a Guide reaches out
