Rival Skid Plate installed

Any updates from Rival? Still shows sold out. Heading to Moab again for Elephant Hill in Sept and would have loved to get them installed.

Unfortunately I can’t see these being available for your September trip. We are test fitting the final prototype on a welded frame R1T this coming weekend. If all goes well they will then be cleared for production.

Realistically I see them arriving to our Houston warehouse sometime in November. Once they are in transit we will open up orders on the website.

Prices won’t be set in stone until we have them in warehouse but based on products we sell of similar size/dimensions it should be $399 shipped.

Looks good. Like others, I would like to see a more durable replacement for the silver plastic piece at the front of the vehicle.

Less than expected, I'm in! Great news. The similar area on my Jeep cost more and did less, so I made my own. Usually Rivian stuff is 2-3x the Jeep prices.

Yeah, all the way up the front, replace all the plastic bits... same with the back eventually...

R1S version too, or will it fit both? Totally will purchase when available! I have RUS OEM plate and DCE rock sliders, but the front and back on some obstacles with close break over or just drops off, been worried about that plastic front and rear areas. Thx!

We have made sure the front skid plate fits all variants of R1T/R1S (Gen 1)

Currently we cannot confirm that the skid plates will fit a Gen2. If anyone happens to have a Gen2 R1T/R1S in the Houston or surrounding areas we are happy to give you a set for your time scanning(if needed) and test fitting.
