Received my new 20" A/T's w/ Darks, had to test them out

Went exploring immediately after getting my truck back from Rivian. My 21's tread were getting low so it was nice to get some fresh shoes installed. Thankfully I know of a spot where I can get some dirt on the tires and not have to push it too hard. Enjoy some of the pics from my exploring.

the ride quality feels softer than the 21’s. More plush. Little more roll on the sidewalls when pushing hard turns. Road noise seems to be about the same. Have put about 200 miles on the tires so far.

Good to know. I’ve got 20’s coming to replace my worn out 22’s. We do a lot of off road exploration in my wife’s defender, and I’d like to get the Riv involved too.

any idea what the SC, or mobile service, did to ‘reprogram’ for the different wheels/tires?

2. Where did you buy the 20" ATs from? I don't see them on the Rivian gear shop

Update: I just discovered that, although they only show an image of regular 20" ATs on the Rivian Gear Shop browsing page, after opening up the item you can then select which variant. Mystery solved!

those are wheel sizes you listed, not tire sizes. tire sizes are more complex than that, i.e. 275/65r20, 275/60r20, 275/55r21, etc etc etc. The number listed after the "r" is the wheel size... tiresize.com is a good reference.

it’s a software update. The computer recalibrated range estimations based on the configuration you have set. Also the graphic shows the truck with the new wheels

Only on highway at speed. Switched back to all purpose for stop and go or city driving.
