Congrats!
Keep us updated. I have a serious itch for the new quad, but my low vin 22’-T has been rock solid (knock on wood) so I’m scared to give it up.
Picked up my R1T in July 22’, and knock on wood it’s been solid.
Living in Chandler, it’s a bit of a haul out to the SC, but the few times I’ve had to have been fine. Currently, my front air suspension is leaking overnight, so I do have an upcoming service appointment; which was 90-days out...
I purchased a set of 20’s (which are now listed for sale in classified section. ;)) and Rivian completed the install by mobile service. I’d have to do some digging for the receipt, but don’t remember paying more than the listed price and tax.
Decided to go back to the 22’s because we’ll off-road in wife’s Grenadier instead of the Riv.
Excellent condition, only about 3k miles on wheel/tire set, always in all purpose mode, includes tpms.
$3,000 for set
Sounds like you have a nice view of your deck! We spent 3 days at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta last year, and it was an amazing experience. So many balloons. Each morning we’d stroll through the launch field and watch how they got them set up and launched.
Great to see a bunch of Airstreams being towed around here! Last year, I posted a couple of tow logs on the airforums:

I really enjoy towing with...
This has not been sorted out. The Phoenix service center and I seem to be at a standoff….. they claim I can’t bring the truck in unless I sign the preliminary work order, and I’m not willing to agree to any possibility of paying $200 to bring it in. So, here we stand.
(to be fair, I’m 45...
This is all just hilarious! In my experience, Rivian will not calibrate OEM wheels purchased through the Rivian Gear Shop and installed by Rivian’s own mobile service team. They are trying to charge me $200 for the update! We’ve been going back and forth since August or so
Good step by step, thanks for taking the time to create it.
How are you handling the wheel size change in the infotainment? I had Rivian service change my wheels/tires from 22” to 20” last summer and they couldn’t figure out how to change the info to reflect the change. So my truck still...
1st off: don’t cancel your order, even if you can’t convince Rivian to honor the charger. You have a Tesla charger installed? Just order a Tesla tap adapter. We came from a MX and MYP, and do not regret leaving Tesla.
2nd: I have a similar “curb” setup in my garage, albeit more garage...
post update; truck isn’t recognizing there’s someone sitting in the front passenger seat. The “passenger airbag off” is most concerning. We’ll see how quickly service responds to this bug/ticket.
and, yes, there is someone sitting in the passenger seat at time of photo…;)
Following along…..
not surprised by veer’s comment above, because I’ve got a rattle at the a-pilar speaker grille and have been told (by service) that the grille is molded in to the trim piece. Had to book a SC appointment 60 days out
