I had Rivian SC in San Antonio do the work rather than attempt it myself.

I do have some parts that might be useful to you (a manifold I bought on eBay and the used parts that Rivian replaced).

I can send pics in a day or 2 when I am at that location.

how much did they charge? I'd have to tow my vehicle it's about 30miles for me. I'm also out of warranty and I worry they'll insist on changing everything that has any imperfection. If I had to pay for the tow for them to tell me it's more than I'm willing to pay I'll be stuck towing the vehicle back.

it seems I can't upload from my phone, but my computer has no issues uploading the images. It's not safe to use round pucks and the bottle jack/jack stand combo in the picture.

The cost for hydraulic suspension repairs on mine was $3600 + the one-time $780 inspection fee they charged to make sure the salvaged vehicle was safe for their techs to work on. Sounds like you may have a bit more damage than I did, but it may be about the same since they replaced the whole hydraulic manifold and one shock.

My vehicle had other damage that I opted to repair myself. SC staff was very cool about the whole thing.

Thank you! I'd rather do it myself for that price.

I started the tear down but I’m unable to upload pictures here perhaps because I’m new.
I have issues uploading photos too, I've resorted to taking screenshots of my pics and reducing the size.

It's weird because I can upload higher res pics I download from the Internets, but not from my phone 🤔

Same issue. Frustrating "feature" of this forum.

If you have an iPhone and take “Live” photos, they often don’t play nice. For existing photos you can tap the live icon in the upper left corner and select live off, then they may work.

Missed that question earlier, sorry. Unfortunately I don’t know if it’s available independently from the rear shock assembly. On mine, the canister just below that was damaged, so I had to replace the whole strut. It came with that black connector and wire harness, and it didn’t appear to have its own part number.

Did you by chance have to replace your struts and have the old ones?

Is forklift an "approved" method of lifting the vehicle?

IAAI seems to think it is. From their website:
Vehicle Loading - A service fee applies. Buyer understands that the loading process is fraught with danger to person or property because it involves lifting a vehicle with forklifts and placing the vehicle on a transporter. The forklifts could cause damage to the vehicle. The loader could drop the vehicle causing injury to persons or property. Buyer is responsible for directing the load onto the transport, securing the load, and safely transporting the vehicle. BUYER AND BUYER REPRESENTATIVES ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR PREVENTING DAMAGE TO THE TRANSPORTER OR VEHICLE AND SECURING THE LOAD FOR SAFE TRANSPORT. KNOWING THESE AND OTHER RISKS INHERENT IN THE LOADING PROCESS, BUYER AND BUYER REPRESENTATIVES FULLY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE LOADING, TOWING, AND TRANSPORTING PROCESS AND BUYER AND BUYER REPRESENTATIVES IRREVOCABLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY WAIVE AND RELEASE IAA INDEMNIFIED PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, OBLIGATIONS, LOSSES, LIABILITIES, JUDGMENTS, COSTS OR EXPENSES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO CLAIMS FOR BODILY INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER OCCURRENCE DURING THE LOADING, TOWING, OR TRANSPORTING PROCESS, WHETHER CAUSED BY IAA’S OWN NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE.

I haven’t been able to get a hold of a replacement receptacle. I’m going to have to bite the bullet and pay the $1179 for the R/R strut. 😠 My R/L strut bottom receptacle is also a bit damaged but is fully seated. I will find a way to secure the connection to the harness connector. It seems ridiculous to have to replace the entire strut for a receptacle. 🙄 Does anyone know the torque specifications for the strut?
