Submitted. I reserved an R2 to have the option of getting one, but I'm happy with my R1T and don't have a need (or space) for more than one car. I'm tempted by the R3X though…

Submitted. We don't currently have an EV. We are a very active outdoorsy couple. Currently, the only EVs that would work for our lifestye are the R1s and Lightening, both too expensive and too big. We like the form factor of the R2. If the price isn't inflated too much by the time we can purchase (likely 2027 since we aren't already a Rivian owner), the R2 will be our entry into an EV.

Forgot to add here, but placed my R2 reservation on March 8, 2024.

Currently leasing a R1S dual motor. Undecided on if we will get the R2 and keep the R1, or keep both (or neither).

Added my res, placed March 7. We're out in the mountains of WA every weekend in our Tacoma and 80% of the time it's less than 300 miles round trip. Tired of 16mpg, but not $90k R1 tired. R2 makes perfect sense.

Same. I placed the R2 reservation during the event "just because," then when the R3 was revealed, I nearly cancelled my R2 reservation. I'm keeping it just in case it allows R3 priority, and/or there's the option to switch it to R3.

Put in a reservation on 3/7/2024. Current R1S owner in GA.

Undecided on if we'll convert it to an actual order. Other car is a Kia Niro, which my wife loves. We usually keep cars for 10 years or longer, so she won't be ready to replace her Niro. She also still wants to keep at least one ICE/hybrid in the house. We might downsize from the R1S, depending on trade-in values and the final details of the R2. We don't need a vehicle this big. R2 would be a better fit.
