R1S Proximity locking inconsistency

Since the last update, our R1S proximity locking/unlocking has been all over the place. Sometimes I’ll walk up to the car and stand right by it for close to a minute before it detects me and unlocks. Other times I’ll walk away and it won’t lock until I am 200 yards away. I’m using my phone (app is running) and the credit card key in my wallet. I’ve rebooted the system, but still have the same issue. Happens to my wife as well.

Anyone else experiencing the same issues? Is there a fix for this?

Phone as a key worked very poorly for me at first and then one day my phone popped up a message saying that phone as key was disabled on this device and that I needed to delete the pairing and set it up again.

It has worked great ever since then. I have no idea why it booted me or why re-pairing would help, but it did.

Frist my problem was that I was walking up the passenger side first, that does not automatically unlock. Then after I learned that the driver's side was needed, that was variable, give or take a Min. or what seemed like a Min. Sometimes as I walk up in a Pkg. Lot, the handles are popped out when I get to the door, (drivers side approach). Other times I stand there waiting, but it is 15 to 30 seconds. So, to put this into perspective, if you're going to rob a bank using a Rivian as the getaway car, "Just say no", instead of "Just do it".
Ok, the issue is, the thing can go 0-60 in 3 Sec. but takes 15 Sec. to open the door.
