For some reason I thought the R1S was a 3 zone. Mildly disappointed the rear isn’t a 3rd zone controlled separately.

2 sets of Latch car seat anchors in both the 2nd and 3rd row! Kept getting conflicting information on this.

Crap, the one feature I was afraid it wouldn't have, it doesn't have. The second row seat doesn't tilt as a whole, like if you have a car seat in it, to access the third row. My VW Atlas has it, and with four kids, two of them in car seats, this is going to be a pain in the ass.

Also disappointing for the kiddos: Four cup holders in total. Zero in the third row.

EDIT: These appear to be cup holders but they aren't specified in the section about them. Thanks @drivetorun

Nope. Only two zones. The Left and Right.

So what does the climate control screen at the back do? E.g. If the driver side rear passenger changes temp, does it change it for the driver as well?

No temp controls in the rear, only an indicator. Turns the vents on and off and controls the interior lights in the back. Driver's set temp sets the temp for the back left seat.

Yeah, this surprised me as well. Thought the rear cabin would have a dedicated zone.

Uh, yeah - my 16yo GX470 has driver / passenger / rear. Really hate losing functionality - and thinking "dog" mode is gonna be disappointing if they think the "dog" is left or right side.
