Picking up our R1S on Saturday! 3 weeks between VIN assignment and pickup. Came by train. Stoked.

Once you confirmed your configuration, how long did it take to get a VIN/8 steps?Excited, my Rivian R1S (VIN in the 900's) has shown up at the Irvine CA Service Center, exactly three weeks after I had my VIN assigned. Hopefully I'll be picking it up early next week.
Thanks! My 8 steps just opened, VIN is 17XX.From VIN to arrival at Service Center was three weeks. My confirmed configuration was done back in March. Long story … I used to have a reservation for both the R1T and R1S. I cancelled the R1T about a year ago. Rivian called to tell me that they had an R1T for me in March, realized it was a mistake, but got assigned a guide for my R1S, who locked my config.
Do we have any idea what the production rate for the R1S might be now? There are a good number of us with the Oct-Dec delivery period and with basically a week left in Oct we should start seeing a lot of us being contacted in short orderGot back from a trip last night into SFO. I stopped by the SC.

I am with ya! The R1S at the right is my exterior config, I did not get out of the car to take a closer look at interiors, I am assuming they were all BM interiors...I’ve yet to see an LA silver R1S posted. No contact Im getting anxious about seeing mine by end year.
I sure hope so. I received the email from Rivian about PPF yesterday and on my watch it just read "Rivian" and I about lost it. Then I clicked on the email, read about ppf, and slumped back into that familiar state of anxious waiting...Do we have any idea what the production rate for the R1S might be now?
