If they’re delivering to non-employees (and I bet they’re not), it’s one or two max and they have special relationships with Rivian or the industry. They’re not just lucky launch edition orders. There will be a flood of R1S delivery posts when it starts for real.

Concur. The internet has been very good at spotting the first ones in the wild. Right now the interwebs say the number of R1S out and about is like three or four and they’re all attributed to employees in some way…or Elsa and the other one (and they gave theirs back already)…

I wonder if they wrapped it in one of their funky wraps and it is a test vehicle. I believe it had black 22s, and there hav been photos of a wrapped one that MAYBE appears to have a dark (potentially black) mirror?

The wrapped prototypes all date to last year. I doubt they'd wrap anything built this year as production technically started with RJ and Claire's builds.

Got it! It is a bit surprising then that nobody has spotted that vehicle. Maybe it hasn’t moved from the lot?

To be clear with everyone, *I* am not advocating that R1Ss are being delivered to non-employees right now. I'm just passing along the message from CS. The message could just be a talking point - I was told a couple of weeks ago - unprompted - that non-employee deliveries would start end of the month (May). So this CS could just be continuing that narrative not having any idea whether it's happening as planned or not. Obviously I don't know what the status is beyond they haven't delivered mine. Heck, I still don't have a guide. 1,276 days now and counting...

So expect the bad news this week... maybe?

Looks like we are close in our delivery windows...and prob close in our proximity to the Denver SC...so let's hope for the best! I just want to hear that delivery will be by july/aug.

I was thinking thinking we were going to be pushed to Sept/Oct a couple of weeks ago but after yesterdays peculiarly worded email, kind of makes me feel like 2022 is in real jeopardy.
