When there is one, I'm sure this forum will explode with posts and threads about it. We do know that the Rivian 2.0 interface/OS that is in R2 will be coming to R1 and that Wassym said it was "sooner than you think" in the Reddit AMA..... but other than that, it'll show up when it shows up.

They switched from 4-week to 8-week builds for R1 back in the fall of last year. Expect an R1 update every other month going forward, at least (maybe) until they merge the R1 onto the new R2 OS 2.0. But probably still going to be a lot slower for R1 going forward now that the new favorite baby is here.

Not only that, but the 2.0 on R2 is missing a ton of features still. I don't imagine we will get 2.0 until there's feature parity.

I hope so, ever since the current version, my entire vehicle reboots within a minute of starting a drive about 80% of the time. Full both-displays reboot, including not showing rear camera or speed. (Which I'm pretty sure is illegal.)

I have a service appointment later this week that they're telling me they'll have the truck for up to 5 days, and they can't guarantee me a loaner that can tow, which I need for an already planned trip this weekend. So I'm having to delay my (probably unnecessary) service appointment.

Do you listen to Spotify while driving directions are going and try to use your turn signal? You can only do 3/4 at the same time.

My fix for the same issue has been no longer using Spotify through the UI and using Bluetooth for the same listening instead. Solved all of my freezing/restarts.
