Rivian responded to my same question on Twitter with this yesterday:



I'm choosing to construe triple arrow soon as connoting a higher degree imminence than just a single soon.

They probably have a certain amount of 2025's they want to have left in inventory before the 2026's go on sale. I suspect all the quads are going to be 26's.

I was told "sometime in July." I was also told what we all thought was Launch Green will be called "something else." That suggests to me it's either not an exact match for the OG Launch Green or it'll just enter the existing color options dropping the "Launch" designation but adding a nature-inspired name.

The real questions is how many more threads will there be asking about the quad release date before the quad is actually released.

I was starting to wonder if people lost interest in the g2 quad.

Glad to see new weekly "when is quad" thread appear, restoring my faith in impatience of people wanting to part with $120K+
