One of the reasons I went with explore.
In case you are wondering about the frost, it was doing this last night as well but I didn't think to video it for fake internet points.
Wen Rivian? Hummer has the same issue.

My personal. I just picked it up on Saturday. Seemed like it ran okay on the first day, but the truck was being stored indoors waiting for me to pick it up. Tried to open it last night to test fit some stuff in the bed and it was doing this. If you push/pull while opening/closing, it'll do the complete cycle, but you have to do it just right or it'll still stop.Maybe I’m out of the loop here, what am I watching, your personal Hummer or is this someone else’s?
Wonder how the tonneau will hold up for those beach running in the sand and salty air?
Wonder if it’s like an overhead door where you have to adjust the opening/closing sensitivity ?My personal. I just picked it up on Saturday. Driving impressions? It did come with a manual but I didn't even think to look in it until after I drove to work and I don't have it here. It's too new to be online yet.
Overall, it's fun. Has lots of power. Four-wheel steering makes it feel like a much smaller vehicle in parking lots. Don't need to slow down on bad dirt roads. One pedal regen is pretty amazing in the Hummer, way stronger than other EVs I've driven. WTF mode is pretty impressive, but if I could disable all of the artificial noise crap I probably would.Driving impressions?

Throttle can be a bit touchy, so drivability could be better. My Polestar's throttle mapping is great in comparison. No surging in the polestar at all. Power delivery change in the Hummer happens too abruptly with much less pedal deviation. It takes getting used to, it's been difficult to drive the Hummer smoothly after driving the Polestar.
There's a lot more drivetrain play in the Hummer, something I kind of expected. The Bolt was similar but still not quite as much.
Supercruise is quite good in low traffic situations. Heavier traffic makes me a bit less comfortable with it, but I've really only had one day of use for it, so something to get used to I'm sure.
I did a pretty detailed write-up here if you want to know more: https://www.hummerchat.com/threads/honeymoon-period-review.1165
That feeling when you first apply power in forward/reverse before any movement happens. Makes sort of a clicking sound. It's pretty audible in the hummer but that's probably because it's got a lot of drivetrain. I noticed it a lot this morning when I drove it without preconditioning at all, could be that it's worse when all of the fluids are cold. Definitely something I'm going to keep an eye on though. If you drive a stick, you probably know this feeling. Most automatics don't translate.Drivetrain play?
Also, nice little write up, Congrats on getting one so soon as well.
