Never had this happen to a car in the 9 years I’ve lived here. My neighbor had it happen to his Rivian too. Not good.
what charger do you recommend? Tesla?

Yeah this was the Rivian wall charger that got destroyed. So I’d like to replace it with a wired charger if Rivian isn’t going to help me out with a new one.

Wanted to give an update. Rivian came thru and gave me a new charger and installed it for free (Qmerit). Very impressed with the entire process and only was out 3 weeks without a charger. I'll make sure I'm not plugged in if I'm parked on snow.
