Yeah, I don't know what it is, but it does look off. I think the proportions are off. The truck bed seems thin while the front end looks very chunky.
It’s that big cab with the wide doors and the short box…and what to do with an EVs mug?

…a garden shed with a ton of send, though 🏠!!!

I *think* it's the rear wheel wells. I have a reservation and my wife and I were looking more closely at different F-150 body styles during the pricing snafu, and that seems to be one of the oddities.
It’s the grill area….looks cheap.
I hate the lightbar. It reminds me of old cheap plastic lights from when I was a kid. I much prefer the PRO grill.

The look is ok, very traditional. For platinum, I really didn't like plasticy look of the front. But that's partly because of they wanted to make the front lighter. The way frunk open is way more useful IMO!
I agree that the front looks cheap with that fake grille. I'd like to see one with that "grille" area color-matched to the main truck color. Too bad I can't photoshop.

Alex Dykes (Alex on Autos) gets his Lightning next week for his long term review. He actually bought his and will have it for 6 months. I appreciate the EV specific hot-takes provided by Out of Spec, but I’m much more excited to see Alex’s initial review and long term thoughts.
