I'll add to the whining on this. The shade of white on the airbag cover is wrong for the slate sky interior, and it should be blue to match the rest of the interior. It's the only design miss in an otherwise exceptionally well-put-together interior.

Our R1S has OC interior and we love it. Never gave a second thought to the airbag cover color....looks fine. "in the eye of the beholder" as the saying goes I guess. I like that they made the effort to coordinate it and think that's appropriate given the cost /market segment of the vehicle. If it bothers you that much, seems like it would be easy enough to change to black either by replacing or refinishing as an earlier poster did.
