Truck makes a clicking sound when changing ride height (up or down), roughly every second, maybe 6 to 10 clicks each time. I made a quick video in my garage going from high to low and you can hear 4 clicks even after the truck finishes coming down, I get the noise while driving too if ride height changes. It's always done this and everything works fine, but just sorta curious if this is a normal noise and if so, any idea what it is? What's making that noise?

Haha it's been 2 months, figured it was normal but have a service appointment coming up for some random fit and finish things from delivery and figured I'd ask to be sure. Was mostly curious what the noise is.

Air suspension systems have a few components that all work together to adjust the ride height and keep the vehicle level. The compressor fills a reservoir that stores air at a preset pressure. Individual corner sensors tell the main computer where that corner is at heightwise. If an adjustment is needed a signal is sent to a leveling valve (solenoid block). The leveling valve then decides to either add or reduce pressure at each corner.

The noises we hear are from the system opening and closing the solenoids and the air compressor filling the reservoir. Why more noticeble in the Rivian I don't know. Maybe location of the components or how they are isolated (or lack thereof) from the cabin.
