Right, but I'm hoping enough people think this is a topic worthy of its own separate discussion. Not 2 quick comments on a general post with 10 pages of messages. NOW is the time for us to speak, before they start pumping out R1T's with black speaker grills, haha.

Also want to hear from Rivian on this unless someone else takes delivery of OC soon. The black speakers look horrible so I'm hoping the one from RJ's tweet is a early test model or something.

I agree color matched looks better, but we're going to get whatever they have enough of. It's not really a "speak up" situation.

Ok, I'll repeat what I've already said on the "issue" then: configurator shows speaker grills matching headliner. I imagine they were just short of the white grills when they put the demonstrator vehicle shown in the video together. I would treat the configurator as gospel as far as what you can expect to get.

At this point...it's whatever is availableThis can't be good... Why is RJ showing BLACK speaker grills on the a-pillar and roof on one Tweet, but showing matching grills on another Tweet?Is this worthy of its own topic?

We know you’ve been waiting for an update on the Ocean Coast interior you ordered with your R1T. Due to supply chain constraints, we've had to adjust our fulfillment timelines and now plan to begin Ocean Coast vehicle deliveries in October 2022.
To further streamline production, we’ll be shipping them with an all-black speaker grille colorway. The only difference you’ll notice is that your speaker grilles are black instead of being color coordinated. Other than that, the materials and durability will be the same.
If you have any questions about the Ocean Coast all-black speaker grilles you’ll be receiving, please reach out to your Rivian Guide.
