Nothing worse than an early Tesla buyer, they are even superior to use plebes who bought in late. Like a new vegan or born again religious person.

I own both and I am psyched to open it up for broader EV adoption. The more the merrier and it will make more people buy Rivian and also more infrastructure to make it seamless.

My friend in midtown ATL has never seen a broken SC. Nor my employee in Athens who drives to the city, and has no home charging at all. Are you sure you're talking about Superchargers, and not destination chargers?

I rented a Tesla last summer in San Diego and had a great experience. Drove up and down the coast over teh course of a week. This was my first time driving an EV. No issues with charging and the car was nice to drive. Obviously this is one experience and there very well could be issues in other areas.

I just love cars, truck, motorcycles, and technology. So EVs really speak to me. And I will talk to anyone about them, no brand racism. I just don't understand the "club" mentality but that's also why I hate sports I guess.

I wonder in what world "not in stock" doesn't mean backorder. Funny. But hey, if you're here, do you have any way to estimate time for an order from this week? I have a couple trips in May that are definitely affected.

It says on the website how long it will take when you order. 3-4 weeks.

I agree. I was hoping they would have got to maybe 5k in the first batch, but apparently more like 1k it seems.

Getting access to Tesla chargers is a good thing, don't get me wrong, but it isn't the magic bullet people are making it out to be. Right now the Tesla system is very busy with Tesla's, adding Ford, Rivian, and all the other cars out there to that will only increase the waits.

Doesn't Tesla sell more than 500,000+/yr in the US market? So adding a few Fords and Rivians will have a relatively small impact on the SC network.

with recent shipping delay from Ford NACS adapters, I don't think I will receive the adapter from Rivian any time soon (Vin > 20k) so I just ordered A2Z adapter. At the worst, I can still use A2Z adapter as a backup.

I prefer to say I really love my R1T and am passionate about it but we all know the truth.
