I went up to the Preview event in Normal (didn't drive) at the end of September, that night I pre-ordered.

That's nice, I ordered Nov 2018 and hardly heard anything from Rivian till date... kinda disappointed with their customer outreach but ?‍

Yep, totally understand the frustration... Until the ramp up gets a bit further the CS reps (and even the engineers, etc.) just don't know enough to have meaningful contacts.

I know I've never actually been interested enough in a new vehicle to have cared about this phase of production so trying to be patient!

I did custom order a vehicle once, but it was just a new model year so only a few months overall wait time.

Nice.. yeah this is not my first long wait for a vehicle ... was one of the pre holders for my Tesla Model X so have gone through the pain of waiting lol...

My wife just spotted a R1T in the wild in St Louis. Of course I didn’t get to see it. Couldn’t tell if there were Missouri plate or temp tags.

Congratulations on your R1T. I have been visiting with my guide and they were hoping to get me mine by the end of March. I can’t believe that the only person located in Missouri also lives in Springfield. Hope you’re enjoying your truck. I reserved in March 2019, it’s been a long wait

We’re from St. Charles, Mo and even only seen a small handful here. We have a R1T and a R1S and we love them to death. We were previously Tesla fans since 2019 with a 3 and a Y loved them until my hubby got his truck then my Y was too plain looking for me so I upgraded to the R1S.
I wish there was already a club here in St. Louis.

There is a gateway Rivian club! Lots of Rivians around town now.
