Anyone else think the mirrors should auto unfold at like 8 mph instead of 18? I don’t unfold on unlock to make it is easier to back out of garage

Fold on lock and fold on unlock are both selectable options. I kept mine both turned off during the winter because they kept freezing in position and would eventually have damaged the motors.Mine automatically unfold when I unlock the doors. Yours don't? Tbh I don't think it's legal to have the mirrors folded up when driving down the road...
I have to have my mirrors unfolded when backing out of the garage otherwise I most likely will hit the side of the garage door. I only have a few inches. I don’t get enough detail from the surround cameras.Anyone else think the mirrors should auto unfold at like 8 mph instead of 18? I don’t unfold on unlock to make it is easier to back out of garage
I back INTO my garage, so I can pull *straight* out of my garageI have to have my mirrors unfolded when backing out of the garage otherwise I most likely will hit the side of the garage door. I only have a few inches. I don’t get enough detail from the surround cameras.

In my neighborhood, it's actually not legal (against code) to back out into the public street. Not that anybody pays attention to that in this s*hole town. ??

Disagree on all accounts.Backing into spots is, indeed, safer. However, it's significantly more difficult and time consuming. The number of people I see taking 3, 4, or even 5 attempts to get into a spot is insane. Even the worst drivers can pull forward into a spot decently with 1 or 2 tries at most. Backing out is usually more forgiving space-wise, so it's easier than backing in.
