Miles on R2 at delivery

I was finalizing my contract today and noticed it says 100 miles on the car. For those that have taken delivery, we're there more than a couple miles on it? Hope this is just a default value in the contract.

ITCRC that is just a default notation. The Count's R1S back in the dark ages of 2022 said 100 miles on the contract and arrived with 23.

As stated just a standard estimate, my R1S and R2 both had 100 miles on the paperwork. R1S was less than 30, R2 was 9.

Our 2026 R1S had the same 100 miles in the contract. It's a default number. I don't remember the exact miles, maybe 5 or 6, but it was as you'd expect.

My last new car was a 2026 Optiq. Trading that in for the R2. When I received the contract from the dealer it said 9 miles on it. Here in NY I believe that number has to be accurate. I questioned them why it had 9 miles when most of the others showed 2 or 3 miles they said mine went on one test drive. I want my rear end to be the first to spend any real time in the driver's seat. Why should a R2 have more than a couple miles on it when you take delivery? Juggling around the rail yard and trucking depot shouldn't amount to that much.

The number on the contract is up to dealer discretion. I have had some dealers put 500. It is dangerous for them to put the exact miles as if the car is over the contract its an easy way to invalidate it.
