Finally took delivery of my Limestone R1T (Adventure Package, OC Interior, 20” AT Dark Wheel) a couple weeks ago. Went straight from the service center to my tint guy. I got ceramic tint all around, full wrap (matte PPF), and blacked out emblems. I got it back a week later and I couldn’t be happier! Excited to be part of the club!

Damn mine is getting Kenzo ceramic coat today but i'm kinda regretting not doing the matte wrap now... that looks awesome.

Man, I can't say if I love the matte stealth PPF or not - I am dying to see this in person. It looks incredible in this photo, very unique. I may have to stay with gloss...I can't decide!

Unfortunately, I’m in CA. Personally, I LOVE how it looks in matte. I’ll say that photos online don’t do Limestone justice as it seems to be the most affected by variations in lighting. With the matte wrap, it still looks different based on the lighting but I feel like it’s not as dramatic (not sure if that makes sense or if that matters to you). For me, the way it looks now is closer to what I was initially hoping Limestone looked like when it was first announced.

Edit: Also, I felt it plays better with my “grey and black” theme. I have the OC interior, which I feel matches well. I think keeping it glossy might look nice with your build (Sport Bights and FE interior), but I don’t think you can go wrong either way.

I got my truck at the end of November (Limestone R1T; Adventure Package; Ocean Coast Interior; 20” All Terrain Dark Wheels; Guide Susan). I picked up the truck at the Costa Mesa, CA Service Center and drove straight to my tint/wrap guy over at Elevance in Hawaiian Gardens.

I wanted to keep a grey and black theme with those subtle yellow details (CA’s black and yellow 60’s Legacy license plates help 😄). The shop did the following:

- Full matte PPF wrap (including edges and de-badging/re-badging)
- Glossy black wrap on black trim
- Silver sections of front and rear bumpers wrapped black (then covered with PPF)
- 15% nano ceramic tint all around (including panoramic roof)
- Slight tint applied to headlights
- Blacked out badges (rear badges painted, but the remaining badges wrapped to retain the yellow sides)
- Ceramic coat all around

I thought I’d share the results since I haven’t seen many images of stealth Limestone R1’s. I couldn’t be happier with the results and to finally be a part of the club!

Here’s a mix of shop photos and my own, which give a slight sense of the tone under different lighting conditions.

Took delivery of a Limestone R1T with Forest Edge interior yesterday. Check the pics to see if these colors clash in your opinion. In mine, they don't; the pastel tone of both keeps them in the same family.

Having said that, Limestone gray *does* tend toward blue. This is obvious when you look at areas where the interior and exterior meet. I wish the gray tended toward green or brown (like the configurator!!), but it most definitely does not. Also, the Forest Edge interior is a *very* light green, seems almost gray in certain (most?) lighting conditions. It will *not* remind you of your Mom's LeMans station wagon.

Overall, I'm happy with the combo, but --as this thread has demonstrably shown--Limestone is NOT well represented in the configurator, and that's the color I really wanted. If you're on the fence, go down to your local Service Center and see the color in-person. It is unique, but I can see how it's not everyone's cup of tea.
@jamma
You’ve had your R1T configuration for a few months now. How do you feel about the color combination? Better? Worse?

Looks super sick. Are you willing to share what it cost you?
Was there a breakdown between the PPF and the blackout parts? I'm more interested in the blacked out details.

I feel like my guide is slammed but come on man. I requested access to the Shop and it seemed like a possibility but nothing as of yet.

For everyone’s perusal….

some progress pics of Xpel stealth being applied today. Some panels are done some panels are not. Will have the truck back on Friday. I sure do miss her.

Here are my observations:

1. The wrap does make the color a tad lighter but this makes sense since the satin texture scatters more light.

2. it seems to lose a bit of the blue color and shift more toward green. Very subtle.

3. When I compare a wrapped panel to an unwrapped panel, I prefer the unwrapped. However, when examining the passenger side which is nearly completely wrapped, it looks so awesome. I was anxious that I might make a mistake by doing this but I am now certain that I did not.

This is great to see the wrap and paint, side by side. I have been planning to do this but I was curious to see exactly what you present. I like it!
Thanks!

Agreed thanks for showing wrapped vs not in the same photos - love the contrast!
