To be fair, A2Z's isn't really a safety issue since who in the heck is going to use it 10,000 times.

Sure, but I'd rather my truck burn up while using an "official" adapter.

Yup. Even if you Supercharged once daily, it would take about 27 years to hit 10k uses.

Not accurate. That was regarding a certain batch of adapters. Not all of them.

IF anyone wants to keep count:

• Lectron's Vortex now has two strikes recalls agains it
• A2Z's Typhoon (discontinued months ahead of recall) has one against it. None on the Typhoon Pro, yet.
• Tesla's adapter has one against it (on a certain batch/lot, issued through Ford).

To-date, none are UL tested or certified.

I got the same thing and too late to return to Amazon. Contacted Lectron by email and got an auto reply that they will try to respond in 1-2 days.

I’m mostly curious if they’re going to send out the replacements before confirming you have disabled the old adapter. There was really only one mention of sending in a picture of the disabled adapter with your name in the last 5 seconds of the video so very easy for people to miss.
