JEBINC's "Boat Hook" bed mod!!!

Ever struggle trying to get that item that slid, or rolled, to the back of your bed? I find this annoying af, so....

In addition to my inexpensive rubber mat mod (see link below), I decided to add an inexpensive, and perfect length, "deck hook" to the mix! Pictures and link to item attached.

Why not. I like it.

I'd prefer a tonneau cover that I had faith it would continue to operate, and a step that I could use to more easily reach items in the bed. Oh well...

P.S. I have since modded the mod by adding some 1/4” floor board under the mat - to create a fully flat surface! You can see that in the “deck hook” picture above!

Anyone else go this route? I love my boat hook! Use it ever time I go to Costco!
