I'm gunna bump this question and see if anyone is around the Des Moines area with an R1S, since our delivery just got moved up to Jan/Feb next year. I've driven a T, but have yet to see the back seat area of an S. We've got 2 young kids, so we have to make sure it'll work.
They are cranking those things out these days, dang.Took delivery yesterday. 8 days from picking it from the shop to delivery day.
I am located in the Waukee area, if there are any pre-order holders that would be interested in seeing one in person before locking everything in.
It must have been an abandoned order. I tried to schedule factory delivery, and they said they couldn't, as it was already on the was to KC service center. Vin 22XXX, so a recent build, the original orderer must have backed out.
