Agreed, monetization sucks.
The station carrying the games is part of iHeart so I hadn't checked TuneIn before now - their site makes it seem like I would be able to listen to the games, but I'll have to wait a few months to know for sure. TuneIn requires Connect+ or phone hotspot as well...
I assure you that I have been reading the entire thread. The only person that pointed out sports blackouts was the one I quoted, and no one else seemed to have carried on that topic.
I have the iHeart app on my phone. The station that carries the football game is in there. But what I have...
I don't know if this tidbit gets enough attention. I can listen to a college football game using the regular FM radio in the R1T or just about any other vehicle, as long as I'm within range of the radio tower (which I typically would be). But if we get an R2 that won't be possible? That's...
Jones & Freeman were my first 2 thoughts.
Next person that popped into my head was Patrick Warburton, seemed like he'd be hilarious. Do it as Kronk, Brock Samson, or the wolf from Hoodwinked. Basically any of his voice work, it's all great.
Count me as another interested in this new harness setup. After a couple recent trips where a lot of time was spent on highways with intersections and thus no highway assist, I think I'm finally ready to get myself a Comma.
Oh man, I owned a 2005 Prius that I traded in for the R1T and I thought I'd be the only person to ever argue it had one of the best button layouts. Everything I needed in reach of my thumbs, tactile feel so you could tell which button you were touching, cruise on a stalk on the lower right you...
My truck has not yet gotten the 2025.38 update and I just checked what the settings are called - mine still says "Proximity" as mentioned in the manual, not "Passive". A little odd that they felt the need to rename that without updating the manual to match. Probably will eventually.

Andrew moved out of Iowa, so he probably won't be able to help you out.
I'm also in Ankeny and could try to arrange something if you can't work out a drive with Plummer.
I just experienced this today probably a dozen times on a trip up I-35 to MN and back home. Just randomly pops up and starts slowing, I hit the gas to prevent slowing too much, tap the gear stalk to cancel then immediately re-engage and it acts as though nothing was wrong. Incredibly...
Sorry, as nice as it would be to sell more of these, I'm going to have to say no. I hadn't looked into shipping costs before today but a really rough UPS estimate of the wheel being 33"x33"x9" & 80lbs says the cheapest option would be $165.
I would be willing to meet within 2-3 hours of...
I've still got all 4. If you're willing to come all the way to the Des Moines metro area, you can come look them all over and pick the one you think looks best. Depending on day/time, I might be able to meet somewhere partway if work & kids activities aren't complicating my schedule.
Edit to...
I just got this notification a few minutes ago. I'm already on 2025.10.01, when I go into the app it doesn't show any pending update, nor anything about a failed update. Not a Connect+ subscriber, so I don't know what it is for.
I may have missed it discussed already, but am I the only one who noticed that they have apparently fixed the bug with the rear screen not staying locked on Gen2 vehicles, but no mention about this being fixed for Gen1? Did they just forget to include that in the Gen1 notes?
I'd still like to see some improvements. I've run into 2 quirks with the scheduled climate feature, although I don't know if the problem lies with the app, the truck, or both of them.
First, if you have a climate schedule for a given day but for some reason decide you don't need it, the app...
