Hi,
My name is Zack and I am excited to be joining the Rivian community for the first time with my 2025 R1s in a week. I am excited to finally make the move to the EV world and really stand behind Rivian after hearing RJ Scaringe speak as well as learning where the company is headed. I work as physical therapist/medical manager for a national sports team and travel internationally quite often. I am a rock climber, trail runner and also play hoops one in awhile. I am based in Salt Lake City, UT.

Hello Rivianians! (Is that a thing?)
I am the proud new owner of a Gen 2 R1S Dual Max Battery! I'm in love!

I also happen to own my own composite design and manufacturing business in Seattle. I'm planning to deck this beauty out in some classy carbon fiber touches. Perhaps replace all the black plastic parts?

Any ideas or thoughts on what you would want to see in carbon fiber? The sky is the limit!

Welcome and congrats on your new ride! It looks great and you look very happy. Schedule your first warranty appointment now so you'll have one already when you need it in a few months.

As for CF, I'd love to do the entire truck in CF. Shave off a bunch of weight to improve the performance even more. Making my topper out of CF would be nice as well.

I love CF from more of a functional perspective than aesthetics. I like how it looks of course, I just like the difference it can make. A set of CF wheels on one of my motorcycles was worth the thousands I spent on them.

New member, joining from Ontario, Canada! I reserved my R2 back on March 25th, 2024...and am anxiously awaiting updates on delivery date expectations for 2026.

Looking forward to learning from existing Rivian owners' experiences, and all feedback/updates this forum has to offer!

Welcome. Ontario is synonymous with the OPP. Just thinking about the OPP still gives me a pain in the wallet.

Hopefully, you'll get your R2 earlier rather than later in 2026 but nobody ever knows with these kinds of things.
