So glad someone finally posted their algorithm for determining who gets a truck delivered.
- One burns witches
- One burns wood.
- Witches burn because they are made out of wood.
- The Rivian floats in water.
- A duck floats in water [bread, apples, very small rocks, cider, gravy, cherries, mud, churches, lead].
- If the Rivian weighs the same as a duck, then it is made of wood.
- The Rivian weighs the same as a duck.
- Therefore, the Rivian is a witch
Some people state they didn't have to pay for the LE "upgrades" while others said they did.I'm also not sure how they handled this for the handful of Guide-assisted switches to LE trucks. Did those folks pay for the upgrades or get them for free?
Customer service can't get inundated with questions if customer service is closed. So it looks like this is going to be one of those after market close on a Friday emails....
I'm sure the news is super positive then for all us R1S holders.....So it looks like this is going to be one of those after market close on a Friday emails....

I think we've all set our expectations appropriately low. But at the same time, I think we can all pull through and still be crushingly disappointed at 4:59 pm EST tomorrow!I'm sure the news is super positive then for all us R1S holders.....
Dude donāt be so absurdā¦ the markets close at 4!I think we've all set our expectations appropriately low. But at the same time, I think we can all pull through and still be crushingly disappointed at 4:59 pm EST tomorrow!
Ah, the tables have turned! As someone who has not been getting emails since April I guess Ill just find out thru yall lol
Except the 25,000 production target for 2022 you note will be 1/3 commercial delivery vans according to RJ during the Q1 earnings call. More like around 16,500 R1ās of either type slated for 2022 production. We can hope the R1S "shop" might launch with invites going out once they produce a few of them ... maybe by the fall. If they need to deliver 25K units by year end and have to date made around 3-4K, there are at least 20K units to be made and delivered by year end. If 10% are made as R1S maybe the first 1500-2000 R1S might get delivered in 2022. Maybe I'm just optimistic I'll get a new toy this year...
Not sure if I know the consensus but a common interpretation of the circa June 6 email is:So, assuming the emails go out by COB today, If I donāt get an email, Iām still alive for potentially getting a truck this year. Is that right? The only emails that are going out are to those guaranteed to get a truck in 2022 and those that are guaranteed to not get a truck in 2022.
Am I reading that right?
