I like it. Still like the Rivian more but it’s a cool concept and always love to see manufacturers getting on board with more EVs.

I like it. I just don’t expect Honda to make it, any time soon.

It reads to me like it's just a designer rendering, not affiliated with Honda in any way. But would be cool to see an EV Ridgeline. Ridgeline seems pretty close in size to the R1T, I was considering test driving one just to get a feel for the size.

1 - No way anything resembling that every gets made by Honda
2 - IF IT WERE MADE... It would almost certainly be made in the USA.

I like the rugged look of the Honda concept. I wish that Rivian would have made the R1T look a little more aggressive, at least in the grill area with some meaner looking headlights. I mean, the thing goes 0-60 in 3 seconds right? Then again maybe it’s better with the humble look, it gives it a sleeper look.

Ugh the “angry headlights” design element can’t die soon enough, IMO. Tired of seeing every keep with those stupid things.

"a sleeper look" You sound like a hustler getting ready to go out and fleece a few unsuspecting street racing ICE drivers.

C'mon ICE drivers, make my day!

I am seeing more pics on the Honda Truck lately on my news feeds... have any of you seen more too? I agree it may be a wild goose chase or at least well out into the future

I remember the Japanese being innovative and focused on reliability. You don't deeply infiltrate an existing market without a fine product (Yugo anyone?). They seem to have built their success on the lack of concern from the American manufacturers..."Let them have the little car market we'll make real cars". I drive an 11 year old Lexus and love it, reliable as a spoon. Look at the near future market with electric motivation becoming the norm not so much because they're powered by windmills in Texas or nuclear rods in California but because of the inherent superiority of the platform. The Japanese with the exception of the Leaf (debatable there) are now the stodgy slow thinking incumbents right behind the US entrenched MBA's running what are engineering companies. Unleash the engineers and it's a whole new game.
