I tried it briefly... I liked it, but switched back to STD out of concern for tire tread wear. With that huge regen available.. I'd be tempted to keep on the go-pedal right up till the last second then let regen save the day resulting in huge tire wear.

Compare max regen deceleration to feathering and you'll see what I mean. One will wear out your tires quickly, the other wont.

Which was my point, since I have driven 100% of all 11.5k miles via last the *go-pedal right up till the last second* method and still have 6mm on all my 22" tires.

Do you consider 3mm tire wear in 11.5k miles *huge*?

Wether you break or regen the friction on the tires is the same. Unless you are in conserve mode then regen is by front wheels only. I’ve switched to all purpose mode for that reason. As far as max regen I love it I’ve been using max regen since 2017 in whatever EV I drove.

I found that quite awkward. For me max regen while feathering the accelerator is most comfortable and easiest to master.
