Garage door opener not working intermittently

I have a mobile appointment next month but I doubt they will find anything to fix it.

Have same issue. Quick tap, long tap, near, far, any combination… at best I get a 50% success rate. Soon happens so it registered the press, just doesn’t do anything. . I’ve resorted to keeping a remote opener in the car. If it fails to work I tap the regular opener and it instantly works. Definitely a rivian problem.

My suggestion is just do 1 quick tap and wait.

When it first came out I was holding it too long or being impatient and pressing a second time. Once I started doing one quick tap and waiting, it has worked 100% of the time. Sometimes it might be 2 or 3 seconds before the garage starts moving but is working every time.

I’ve found one quick and complete tap does it for me. It also takes 4ish seconds before the door opens.

Just started with me after the .42.1 build (updated last night). Wondering if I need to reprogram. That will be the next step.

I also have this intermittent garage door opener issue. It is a Genie opener. Seems to fail more often leaving the house (closing), and fail less on coming home (opening). Already tried to pair again, and still didn't fix the issue.

Same here... Genie. Funny thing is our T is flawless but the S sometimes has issues. Seems to have gotten much less frequent over the last several months.
