Posting here in case anyone is also in the market and finds this helpful.
I’ve been going back and forth between a few options, but needed:
1) Enough space for 3 of us (two smaller people)
2) A place for Tall Dog to sleep nearby
3) An option for a 4th person without pitching a second tent
4) Fitment over the bed only without going roof-height racks
This basically narrowed my options to soft RTT with an annex. Of which there are many choices!
Smittybilt Gen2 (not the XL - too long for the bed) was on the shortlist, and found today on Amazon that they are both on sale for about $1470 combined, which is about the cost of the tent alone from other sites.
I don’t know our Forum rules on posting links for sale, so I leave it to you immense google skills, which will not be taxed by this search.
Should be here in a couple of weeks, which is hopefully when I’ll be over this bout of Covid and can get back into the wild.
